Please remember if filing a new Bankruptcy with our office after January 1, 2012, we need a copy of  your 2011 tax return as soon as it is filed.  Please file it as soon as possible.  It will be necessary for confirmation of your plan in a Chapter 13.

Beginning in April 2012, the Chapter 13 motion docket will be held on Wednesdays.  Please plan accordingly.

The Chapter 13 Trustee and Chapter 7 Trustees are receiving a report  from a  creditor group showing public records of asssets, asset transfers and credit card records (for those participating). This is in an effort to cause a loss of discharge for failure to disclose assets or transfers. Alternatively, they hope to force debtors to Chapter 13 repayment plans. It is more important than ever to disclose assets and transfers!  Please discuss this with your attorney.

Please be sure to bring photo id and social security number verification to your Meeting of Creditors.

There has been a change in the location of the COLUMBIA MEETING OF CREDITORS– IT IS NOW LOCATED IN THE UNITED AUTO WORKERS BUILDING, 125 STEPHEN P. YOKICH PARKWAY, SPRING HILL, TN 37174.

Our office is open regular business hours 8 am through 5 pm Monday through Friday (last appointment of the day at 4 pm).

Remember – if your tax refunds are dedicated to your Chapter 13 plan and the IRS sends the refund to you, you need to send the entire refund to the Chapter 13 Trustee with a copy of your return. Failure to do so can result in the dismissal of your case.

We appreciate your referals!
